CONSTANTINE'S ARCH

Hello! I'm going to splaing to you what is Constantine's arch. In Roman Empire there were build lots of arches. They were build to representated the vistors of the romas. Here you have some information. It is a triumphal arch and is located between the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill, in Rome. The arch mesures 21 meters high and 25'7 meters wide. It has three arches, the central one is taller and wider and the other two arches (they measure the same). The short part of the monument is made of marble and the top is made of bricks and some marble. It's the most modern arche that it was build in the Ancient Rome. Constantine ordered to the roman people built the arch on October the 28 in the year 312. It was build to celebrate their victory angaist Magnecio. It has an inscription written in bronze letters and they can still read. The top has some sculptures and they are very well conservation. Okey this is all! THE PARTHENON

Hello!I'm Lola, I'm going to talk about the Parthenon. If you are reading this probably is because you read our historic book. I will that you have fun and learn new things! The Parthenon is a Greek temple, it was build around the 440a.C. It measures approximately 69'5m long 10'4m 30'9m tall. Inside, there is a sculpture made of bronze ​​for the goddess Athena and it measures 9m high. The Greeks built temples on the top of the hills because they didn't know to build stairs (the Romans invented), in the picture you can see that is very tall. The Parthenon is built in the city of Athens (ls a very important city like Sparta). It was built in honor of the goddess Athena (goddess of wisdom) which is the protector of the city. The columns that support the roof are Dorics (they haven't got decoration). Sorry I can't put images but you have one in the book. Thanks for visit my blog!
